Yes, you may be able to reuse the original ET-8550 tube connector and tubes with the BCH V4 damper, but only if they fit securely and leave the damper's ink inlet clear. The original connector is bulkier than the Simple Tube Clip. It can work when installed without pinching the inlet, pulling on the damper, or limiting carriage travel. Compatibility depends on your exact tubing and kit revision, so do not force a loose or tight fitting.
With the printer switched off and unplugged, compare the original tubing diameter with the V4 fittings and check that each tube seats firmly. Route the tubing so it cannot kink, rub, or snag as the carriage moves. Make sure the connector does not press on the ink intake or crowd the damper.
