How to Fix Epson XP-15000 Error Code 033007: Printer Troubleshooting Tips from BCH Technologies

Question: I own 2 Epson XP-15000 printers; I sent their mainboards to BCH Technologies to repair the 'blown a fuse' issue. I didn't know that the error code also meant I had to replace the fuse and buy a new flare jet….. so now I am going for my second. Well, now I have an error code 033007 on the new printer. Your video mentioned that this could be moisture, so I left the printer 3 days off and got the same error. Or is the printer toast at this point?
Also, would you buy broken printers? I've already converted these printers for DTF (Direct to Film), but printheads are expensive, and you will soon have to buy a new printer.

Suppose you are facing the same error code with your Epson XP-15000. Then, in that case, when you power on your printer, it runs a series of self-checks. If the tests are not finished, they won't appear on this list, and in general, this group of error codes from 033000 to about xxx007 happens after most checks. The particular error message you get is 033007: The firmware's IC chip is due to corrupted. In simpler terms, your printer's hardware, like a printhead and so on, may be excellent, but because of a corrupted IC chip, it is difficult to say it's simply repaired.
Such corruption usually happens when your printer's automatic firmware update process is interrupted. If the update isn't finished, this can result in a corrupt IC chip, which generates the 033007 error. In some scenarios, the faulty IC chip can be solved by removing and replacing it with a new one physically from the Mainboard, but most of them simply remained unsolved and ended up like this. But as far as printer life goes, you must know your mainboard first, even if the board is undergoing reset cycles. For others, the only way of knowing is by actually putting a new one on there.

We know how much you must have spent on a replacement printhead for the printers you converted to DTF printing. For the built-in AIOs, BCH Technologies can sometimes get higher-end models at low prices (we usually pay pennies on the dollar for an ET-8550 or L1800). We might buy retail printers for $700 to $3000 for anywhere from 100 to 200 bucks. We cannot purchase from contributors for models like the XP-15000, but we accept donations.
The crux of printer issues is that most require a hands-on approach. Due to this, we cannot offer help with remote troubleshooting or repair ideas. We also provide in-person assessment and repair service locally (https://bchtechnologies.com/printer-repair-service), which may take a few weeks to schedule due to high demand (on a first-come-first-serve basis). Although we may not always have the most competitive prices, detailed guides are available for either option.
