This FA040xx printhead gasket is designed for internal printhead servicing, allowing you to safely open the printhead, perform a deep internal clean, and reseal it correctly afterward.

This is a precision internal seal, not a cosmetic part and not a universal Epson gasket.

This gasket is compatible with FA040xx-series Epson printheads that use an oval mesh ink intake inside the printhead.

Common FA040xx printhead assembly labels include:

• FA04000

• FA04010

• FA04040

• Other FA040xx variants

These part numbers represent small consumer and office Epson printhead assemblies used in many EcoTank, Expression, WorkForce, and L-Series printers.

⚠️ Epson reused the FA040xx name across multiple revisions.
Some FA040xx printheads do NOT have a mesh intake and are NOT compatible with this gasket.

This gasket ONLY fits FA040xx printheads with an internal oval mesh ink intake.

When used correctly, this gasket allows you to:

• ✔ Remove dried ink and contamination unreachable by flushing

• ✔ Prevent ink leaks and air intrusion after reassembly

Without a correct internal gasket, opening a printhead will usually result in leaks, air ingestion, or permanent failure. This gasket is designed to prevent that.

• ❌ Not a universal Epson printhead gasket

• ❌ Not for FA040xx heads without oval mesh intake (rare)

• ❌ Not compatible with printheads that have 6 or more ink ports

• ❌ Not for ET-8550, ET-15000, SureColor, or wide-format Epson printers
