Question:
Do you carry ink refills compatible with the Epson EcoTank printer that uses 502 ink bottles?
Answer:
Understanding Epson EcoTank 502 Ink and BCH-Compatible Options
The "502" number you see on your Epson EcoTank ink bottle refers to Epson's internal designation for a series of color dye inks that are commonly used in several of their EcoTank models.
Rather than creating inks for specific printer models, BCH Technologies produces brand-compatible inks. That means our Epson-compatible ink is designed to work with all Epson printers that use dye-based inks, including those using the 502 ink bottle system.
How to Choose the Correct Ink on Our Website
To find what you need:
-
Visit the Ink for Epson Printers – BCH Collection (https://bchtechnologies.com/collections/ink-for-printers-refill-ink-for-epson-all-dye-ink)
-
Choose your ink type (in this case, “All Dye Ink for Epson”)
-
Select the volume of ink you’d like (100 ml, 240 ml, 500 ml, or 1 liter options are available)
What About Bottles?
BCH ink is bottled in generic refill containers and not in Epson’s proprietary squeeze-bottle system. However, you can still use your original Epson OEM bottle if you saved it. Simply pour BCH ink into your old bottle and refill your printer as usual.
If you don’t have the original bottle anymore or prefer new bottles, we offer Epson-compatible empty refill bottles you can purchase separately:
Buy Epson-Compatible Refill Bottles (Set of 4) (https://bchtechnologies.com/products/4bottle)
These bottles are designed to be compatible with the EcoTank’s no-squeeze, inverted fill system.
Addressing printer issues can be a complicated affair due to the hands-on nature of the problems. As such, we’re not able to provide remote troubleshooting or support for printer repairs. However, we do offer in-person diagnostic and repair services via our local facility: Printer Repair Service – BCH (https://bchtechnologies.com/printer-repair-service). Please note that appointments are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis and may require a few weeks’ lead time.
While we’re happy to help in person, our services may not always be the most cost-effective option. That’s why we recommend exploring self-help options, including our BCH Technologies YouTube Channel (https://youtube.com/@bchtechnologies). You can use the search bar next to the “About” section to look up your printer model or issue. Many viewers find this the most direct route to quick solutions—even if the video comes from another helpful creator.
