I currently do not have a video focusing on removing the scanner from the ET-8550. For your loose spring issue on the rear paper feeder, it requires to be found and reconnected on the paper feeding mechanism so that the feeding mechanism can work with proper tension. If the spring is broken or lost, you might have to replace it. Be on the lookout for delicate cables and connections when disassembling the scanner for repairs. Putting the printer back together also requires precision and care so as not to compound the issue.
