Question
I have two Epson 1500W printers and recently ordered two second-generation boards. However, I can't get them to work. All the lights are flashing intermittently, and the connections appear to be the same. Do I need to change something? I followed the manual for the connections, but nothing worked. I really appreciate your help.
Answer
Regarding your issue with the Epson 1500W printers, when the lights on your printer flash intermittently, it typically indicates that the waste ink pad counter has reached its limit and needs to be reset. However, if the lights are steady, it is crucial to check the error code.
To identify the problem accurately, you can use the Epson Adjustment Program, a specialized tool often used by technicians. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:
-
Open the Adjustment Program and select the USB port corresponding to your printer from the dropdown menu.
-
Choose Particular Adjustment, then scroll down and select Printer Information Check.
-
Click Check, and the most recent error code will appear at the top as error number one.
For error interpretation, we recommend searching for "BCH Epson Error" on Google, which will direct you to our page explaining Epson's Triple Secret Error Codes. For example, an error related to the APG sensor may be one of the issues identified. This software is typically provided to Epson technicians but is sometimes shared by DTF printer sellers. If you don't have access to it, you may need to search online to find a copy.

Addressing printer issues can be a complicated affair due to the hands-on nature of the problems. Therefore, we are not able to provide remote troubleshooting, suggestions, or support for printer repairs. We offer an in-person evaluation and repair service via our local diagnostic facility (https://bchtechnologies.com/printer-repair-service). Given the high demand, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Thus, it might take a few weeks before we can evaluate your printer. Our services cover either the whole printer or specific parts, and we provide clear instructions on how to proceed. While our rates may not be the lowest, we encourage exploring self-help through online resources. Start by visiting YouTube or our YouTube channel's homepage (https://youtube.com/@bchtechnologies), and use the search function for relevant videos. YouTube may also suggest helpful videos from other channels.
We greatly appreciate your continued support and hope this information helps resolve your issue. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions.
