I just got new dampers for my Epson XP-15000, but I'm confused about how they work. Am I supposed to remove the rubber plug before installation, or should I leave it in and poke a hole in it with a needle?

• Once punctured, the nipple forms a tight seal with the rubber, preventing leaks while allowing ink to flow normally.
