Question:
I've been watching your YouTube videos for weeks while trying to fix Error 033007 on my Epson WF-7310. The printer had worked perfectly until last month, when this error popped up, and I haven’t been able to get past it since. I’ve tried turning the printer off for more than 48 hours, but the message still shows up when it is powered back on. I saw you fixed this error on another Epson model but not on the 7310, so I’m wondering if the fix is similar.
Also, I have a second printer, an Epson XP-15000, which has stopped printing altogether. It’s less than a year old and had been trouble-free until recently. Now, I have two non-working printers and could use any guidance you can provide. I'm in Raleigh, NC—do you have a repair location nearby?

🖨️ Epson WF-7310 Error 033007 – What It Means and How to Fix It
The 033007 error on Epson printers is a "Write parity error," which is typically caused by a mainboard failure. It usually happens when a firmware update is interrupted, either due to a power loss, disconnection, or internal data corruption during the write process.
What You Can Try:
-
Firmware Recovery Attempt: In rare cases, you may be able to flush or reapply the firmware using Epson’s firmware recovery tools. This depends on whether the bootloader section of the board is still functional. If it is, the printer may still recognize a USB update when powered into recovery mode.
-
EEPROM Rewrite or Mainboard Replacement: If the firmware flush fails, you’ll likely need to either:
-
Remove the EEPROM chip and reprogram it manually using a firmware dump (requires tools and experience), or
-
Replace the entire mainboard.

🖨️ Epson XP-15000 Not Printing – What Could Be Going On?
As for your Epson XP-15000, if it's powering on but not printing at all, here are a few potential causes:
-
Clogged Printhead: This model is known to develop clogs, especially if it's used infrequently or with aftermarket ink. A full blockage may not throw an error—it will simply result in blank prints or no output.
-
Cartridge Recognition Issues: A firmware update might have affected chip recognition, especially if you use third-party cartridges.
-
CR Encoder or Sensor Issues: If the printhead isn't moving or is making erratic noises, the carriage (CR) belt or sensor might be out of alignment.
If the printer turns on, but you hear clicking, humming, or see the printhead stuck in place, check for:
-
Disconnected or dirty CR sensor
-
Obstruction in the print path
-
Incorrectly seated ink cartridges or damp cartridge chips
