Can You Replace the Scanner Glass on an Epson ET-2800 with an ET-2750 Unit?

I have an Epson EcoTank ET-2800 with broken scanner glass that I can’t return to Amazon. I found a scanner unit for an ET-2750. Will that fit my printer? Would this part connect, or is there a better way?

How ET-2750 and ET-2800 are Different in Terms of Compatibility with All-in-One Scanner Glass
For now, we can't say for certain that the scanner unit from the Epson ET-2750 will also fit the ET-2800 (perhaps not the printer unit, though), but stay tuned. Despite outward similarities, internal components are often changed, so it is not clear whether parts for one model will be compatible with another.
However, if you are only having issues with your scanner glass not working, you might not need a whole new unit. We do have scanner glass panels that can replace the one in your unit, and this may be an easier and less expensive solution.
Finding the Correct Scanner Glass Replacement

How to Change the Scanner Glass
If you have the same glass, you can change it by doing the following:
Open Scanner Lid: Depending on the model, you will have to unscrew or remove the top cover.
Use Gloves to Avoid Injury While Removing Glass: When cleaning the floor, wear gloves to prevent injury and carefully pick up any remaining pieces of glass.
Replace the Scanner Glass: Make sure the layout is right, and flush with the frame.
Seal the Deal: Return the top cover and test your scanner for functionality.
Alternative Solutions
If the scanner unit itself isn't just the glass, the entire scanner assembly can be replaced. However, it may be challenging to source a confirmed compatible part for the ET-2800 other than through Epson or third-party repair specialists.
