The SureColor F170 is sold as a four-color dye-sublimation printer. Its factory ink system uses cyan, magenta, yellow, and black sublimation inks. A DTF workflow is different: it needs DTF pigment ink, a workable white-ink path, compatible film and powder, curing, and a RIP that can control the required layers. Changing software alone cannot add a white channel to the F170.
A custom conversion might be technically explored by a specialist, but we cannot confirm a reliable, supported F170-to-DTF procedure or Yink Studio profile for the exact regional model. Four-color hardware also limits how white and process colors could be assigned. Do not pour DTF ink into a printer still containing sublimation ink or assume that a generic conversion guide applies. Mixed inks, clogs, poor adhesion, and printhead or ink-system damage are real risks. A conversion may affect warranty or support.
If you already own the F170, keep it for its intended sublimation work unless a qualified converter can document the ink-system cleaning, white-channel configuration, maintenance plan, and software support for your exact model.
