Question:
I recently asked about the priming clip for HP 17,23,41 & 78 tri-color cartridges but never received a response. I am looking to buy, but I was wondering whether the clip has three individual suction holes on the base for each color. I also want to purchase a clip for my HP 15 black cartridge. It sucks having to pay double just in shipping, running around town, and trying critical surfing all of the electronics places that might have one. How can I do that?
Answer:
Thanks for reaching out. BCH Technologies appreciates your long-lasting following; BCH Technologies YouTube [https://youtube.com/@bchtechnologies] is one of them. You can make this critical course correction, play into our knowledge base, and make us better technical articles with your feedback.
Back to your question: yes, the priming clip for the HP 17/23/41/78 tri-color cartridges has three separate holes at its bottom; one hole for each of cyan/magenta/yellow). These holes are positioned for each color in a way that aligns with suction, which is meant to give you an identical full refill. This is important to keep the best printing quality and avoid contamination between colors.
If you purchase the refill kit to fill your HP 15 black cartridge, combine those two orders so that shipping has only one bite out of your wallet. The simplest way to do this would be by adding both items to your cart and proceeding with the checkout. Because our system automatically determines shipping by adding up the weight of all items in your shopping cart, you are only getting charged 1x for everything. If you encounter any problems with this at checkout time, please contact our customer service team for help.
Important Note:
Some printer-related problems are hands, making them a real headache to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, we cannot provide practical guidance for printer troubleshooting or advice on fixing a particular brand of printers for cell phones and server support. Nonetheless, we offer in-person evaluation and repair service through our local diagnostic facility, which you can find on the Printer Repair Service page. If we cannot service your printer (in-house or mail-in evaluation), it will take at least a few weeks [because of the current high volume/reservations for these services, currently being fulfilled on a first come/first served basis].
From complete repairs to part replacement, see below for more detailed information on the new mail-in or local drop-off processes. Although we may not have the lowest repair rates, I still advocate self-research first. Visit our YouTube channel, and on the homepage, just use the search icon to find repair videos or helpful guides. Look up videos with related keywords, but not just from us; you will find resources from a broad spectrum of experts in the field.
Thank you again for contacting us. We appreciate your trust in BCH Technologies and hope you will let us know how else we can help with our printing requirements!
