How to Set Up an External Waste Ink Tank for Epson R2000 Printers

First, I really appreciate all the videos and work you guys do. I love Kevin's content! I’ve purchased a few things from BCH Technologies, and they’ve all been great so far. Now, I need an external waste ink tank for my Epson R2000 as it’s nearing the max limit on its internal pads, and I don’t want to replace them.

However, I noticed the Epson R2000, like other printers, has dual waste ink tubes. This kit seems to only come with a single tube adapter and no extra clamps. Will I need two adapters, and should I purchase extra clamps for a secure setup? I’m okay with modifying the bottle top if needed.

Now, to answer your question about the external waste ink tank for the Epson R2000. It has two waste ink tubes. You will need two tube connectors to hook the two tubes to the external waste tank. While the kit you came across includes one dual-connector, I would suggest getting another connector to finish off your setup
Here’s what you’ll need:
Another dual connector: You can purchase this Dual-Connect Tube Connector [https://bchtechnologies.com/products/3mm-4mm-dual-connect-single-str], which allows both tubes to feed into the waste ink tank.
Extra tubing: you can purchase an additional 2ft 2mm ID tubing(https://bchtechnologies.com/products/2ft-2-mm-id-1-strand-tubing) for the external tank.
Clamps, Not Required This is because the pipes in this system run at low pressure, and clamps are unnecessary. If the tubes are attached to the connectors properly, you should have no problems. Besides, if you don't mind drilling the bottle top for a dual tube setup, that's also fine and should work well with this kit.
