Question:
How to refill an EcoTank ink reservoir usually filled with an Epson 502 ink cartridge. The top of the ink reservoir is a holder for an adaptor; the original Epson 502 cartridge has that adaptor and fits into that holder. I want to use the ink you sell, but it comes in bottles that don't fit that adaptor. How do I put the ink from the bottle into the pen without the adaptor? Thanks.

Next, regarding your question about using ink bottles that did not have the 502 adaptors to refill your Epson EcoTank, the Epson 502 ink cartridges include a special adaptor for a perfect fit. However, with some creativity, you can still refill the EcoTank with our ink.
However, the easiest way is to reuse an OEM Epson ink bottle from the compatible 502 cartridges. The ink is designed to allow a full tank from those nozzles and can be filled without needing the adaptor. This is a top-quality ink refill: 600 ml Standard 4-Color Refill Ink for Epson KD600X CE. Just pour the ink into an empty Epson OEM bottle (such as the one supplied with the 502 cartridge) and easily refill your printer's ink reservoir.
Epson does not want you to use another company's ink. Still, as long as you use this method and correct the jig, the original Epson bottle fits appropriately into the ink reservoir, and you can mislead the printer into thinking that you have added ink to the printer. Pour the ink into the OEM bottle, reseal everything, and start filling your printer with it just like you would typically do with a regular 502 cartridge. This solution gives you access to our ink while ensuring your EcoTank is still fitting and working correctly.
