Epson Printer Fuse Replacement Issue: Blank Pages and Error 09xA – How to Solve the Problem

Question: Why Is My Printer Printing Blank Pages After F1 Fuse Replacement and Error 09xA Fix?

Answer:
I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I know how annoying printer issues can be after already putting some work into fixing them. BCH Technologies welcomes your questions, and we always take the time to answer. Thank you for your support and engagement even on our YouTube channel ([https://youtube.com/@bchtechnologies]), where we tried our best to improve together and share our own experiences.
Okay, now let us know more towards your problem. After doing all the printer repairs, you get blank pages.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Printhead Connections
You might have disassembled the tank and paperboard, making the FFC (flat flexible cable between the printhead and mainboard) shaky and incomplete.
Examine and reseat every ribbon cable. If the connection is close to loose or slightly misaligned, data transfer can be interrupted, and a blank page will appear.

Capper & Pump System
The printhead relies on a capping station to prevent the ink from drying out or during cleaning cycles. If the tube is clogged or misaligned, the ink will be obstructed from reaching the nozzles.
Could you check the capping station for obstructions, clean it if needed and adjust its alignment with the printhead?
The pump system also helps pull ink through the printhead, which is undergoing a cleaning cycle. Could you make sure it is working and not blocked?

Air in Ink Lines or Printhead
Long periods of cleaning or changing out pieces incur this risk, as air is added to the ink lines, causing clogging.
If you have a cartridge or ink tank printer, look for air bubbles in the ink lines. Only pull ink through the waste line to manually prime the lines and remove trapped air using a syringe.

Printhead Integrity
The previous F1 fuse problem may have caused an electrical surge, possibly damaging the printhead.
Use a syringe to suck ink through the printhead manually and see if prints work this way. The printhead may be obstructed or broken if the ink does not flow smoothly or meets resistance.

Mainboard Damage
An F1 fuse failure indicates a large current, which may also have damaged the mainboard partially.
A malfunctioning mainboard may have inhibited the printhead from receiving data or power even after one or more fuses appeared to be blown, resulting in blank pages.

Next Steps
If you find yourself in such a situation, here are some possible steps for resolution:
Please ensure all ribbon cables connecting the printhead to the mainboard are checked and reseated.
Manual Ink Rest: A syringe and tube are used to manually prime the ink channels, ensuring the flow of ink to the printhead.
Capping Station Check and Pump System: Clean up and re-adjust the capping station so that the ICU pump usually runs.
Printhead Test: Manually draw ink and test for clogs or damage, then run a nozzle check to see if it prints.
If none of these steps work, the problem is likely in the printhead or mainboard. Otherwise, you may need to change the component or hire a professional repairer.

Important Note: With the nature of the problems, addressing printer issues can be pretty complicated. So, we're unable to offer remote troubleshooting support, recommendations on how to repair the printer, or assistance. A Local Diagnostic facility is available, and we highly recommend an in-person evaluation and repair service (https://bchtechnologies.com/printer-repair-service) on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We have our services framed to fix either the entire printer or parts of it. If you choose mail-in or local drop-off services, we outline what steps to take next. We know, right? We are not the cheapest in the market. So we strongly advise looking for help on the internet or through videos.
We recommend starting on our YouTube channel homepage ([https://youtube.com/@bchtechnologies]), clicking the search icon next to "About," and typing in your query. This method has been around for over nine years and is the fastest way to find these resources.
Thank you very much for contacting us again. We hope the suggestions below help you find a solution. Feel free to keep us updated or reach out if you have further questions—we are here for you!
