Thank you for contacting us. We at BCH Technologies appreciate your engagement and support, especially regarding our YouTube channel BCH Technologies YouTube Channel. Your feedback is invaluable in further developing our technical expertise.
Based on your detailed description, it sounds like you've taken significant steps to troubleshoot the issue. Here are a few additional points to consider:
- Trustworthiness of the New Printhead: Although you've tested the new printhead, it's essential to ensure its functionality in another machine if possible. Sometimes, new parts can still be defective.
- Capping Station: The capping station plays a crucial role in maintaining the printhead's performance. Ensure that it is functioning correctly. We have a comprehensive video on how to check the capping station: Check the Capping Station.
- Printhead Cleaning: New printheads are often shipped with shipping fluid inside. It's vital to perform a thorough printhead cleaning to replace this fluid with ink. A malfunctioning capping station can impede this process, leading to blank prints. Again, you will need a functional capping station to do this.

Error Codes Interpretation:
- 0x0a CR (printhead carriage) LOAD POSITION excess load error. CR encoder failure. CR motor failure. Carriage overload. Tooth skip or improper tension of the timing belt. Cable or FFC disconnection. This is when the printer sends a current to the CR motor but the feedback signal from CR encoder shows the CR is not moving.
- 0x00 Fatal Error Does Not Occur: This suggests no critical faults detected during operation.
- 0x05 CR PID speed fall error. CR encoder failure. Motor driver failure. Main board failure. Tooth skip or improper tension of the timing belt. Paper jam. I believe you have two CR related errors due to the paper jam. So I don't think these codes have anything to do with your current problem
- Connection and Cable Integrity: Double-check all connections and cables between the motherboard and printhead. A loose or damaged cable can cause communication issues leading to blank prints.
Addressing printer issues can be a complicated affair due to the hands-on nature of the problems. Therefore, we're unable to provide remote troubleshooting, suggestions, or support for printer repairs. We offer an in-person evaluation and repair service via our local diagnostic facility. Given the high demand, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so it might take a few weeks before we can get your printer for a drop-off or mail-in service. Our services are structured to repair either a whole printer or specific parts, with clear instructions on how to proceed if you opt for mail-in or local drop-off services.
However, we acknowledge that our rates aren't the most economical. Thus, we highly recommend that you resort to self-help via online research. You can start by checking out YouTube or visiting our YouTube channel's homepage. Look for specific videos using the search icon next to "About" on the right-hand side of the menu bar. We receive dozens of queries every day asking about videos for specific topics. Having created videos over the past nine years, it's challenging to remember every single one. Therefore, using YouTube's search function would be most efficient. Plus, YouTube might suggest relevant videos from other channels that could assist you.
Thank you again for reaching out to us. We hope these suggestions help resolve your printer issues.
