Yink Studio DTF RIP Software -Professional RIP Software with YINK Full Color™ and CMY+W™ Technology for A4 and A3 DTF Printers
$9.99
Yink Studio is an innovative DTF RIP software designed for a wide range of printing systems, from compact A4 printers to larger A3 desktop machines. It supports traditional multi-channel DTF configurations and also brings white-ink printing to selected four-channel printers that were not originally designed for it.
Developed by Yi Biao and Kevin Day, Yink Studio combines software engineering, printer design, repair expertise, and real-world garment production experience. Yi Biao is an electrical and software engineer who has contributed to the development of many well-known DTF printer systems. Kevin Day is a printer repair specialist, a YouTube creator with more than 65,000 subscribers, an experienced garment printer with more than 10,000 shirts produced, and holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Easy to learn. Built to perform.
We understand both sides of DTF printing: how the software should work and what operators need in real production. DTF RIP software should not feel like an aircraft control panel that takes hours to understand. At the same time, it should not be so limited that it prevents you from completing real customer orders.
Yink Studio gives DTF operators the tools they actually need without overwhelming them with unnecessary controls. Its workflow is simple enough for new users to learn quickly, while still providing the white-ink control, color processing, layout tools, printer profiles, and production settings required by experienced print shops.
What Is an Ink Channel?
An ink channel is one independently controlled ink path in the printer’s printhead.
For example:
-
A 4-channel printer has four independently controlled ink paths, , typically Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, and Black (CYMK).
-
A 6-channel printer has six independently controlled ink paths, typically Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black, Light Cyan, and Light Magenta (CYMK + LC + LM).
-
An 8-channel printer has eight independently controlled ink paths, with the exact ink configuration depending on the printer and printhead design.
The number of channels is not determined by the printer’s paper size. An A4 printer may have six channels, while an A3 printer may have four, six, or eight channels. Yink Studio licensing is based on the number of active ink channels used by the printer—not whether the printer is A4 or A3.
Supported Printer Systems
Yink Studio supports a growing range of A4, A3, desktop, and specialty DTF printer systems.

Other approved printer configurations
A3 systems are well suited for full-size shirt designs, larger transfers, gang sheets, and small-batch commercial production.
A4 systems are ideal for chest logos, sleeves, names, numbers, children’s apparel, samples, and home-based DTF production.
Yink Studio also includes feathering controls designed to help reduce visible color striping on high-speed printhead systems, including XP600- and ET-8550-based configurations.
4-Channel DTF Systems
A standard four-channel printer normally uses:
Cyan + Magenta + Yellow + Black
Examples of four-channel printers may include:
-
Epson ET-2720
-
Epson ET-2750
-
Epson ET-2850
-
Epson ET-4700
-
Epson L3150
-
Other approved four-channel A4 or A3 printers
Yink CMY+W™ Technology
With a supported Yink Studio DTF conversion, the four channels can be configured as:
Cyan + Magenta + Yellow + White
Yink Studio generates composite black by combining cyan, magenta, and yellow. This allows the original black channel to be reassigned to white ink.
This makes DTF printing possible on selected four-channel printers that traditionally could not print a white underbase.
6-Channel DTF Systems
A six-channel printer has six independently controlled ink paths.
A common six-channel DTF arrangement may be:
Cyan + Magenta + Yellow + Black + White + White
Other supported arrangements may use duplicated colors or different white-channel configurations, depending on the printer and conversion design.
Examples of six-channel systems may include:
-
Epson ET-8550
-
Epson ET-8500
-
Epson ET-18100
-
Epson XP-15000
-
Epson L18050
-
Epson L8050
-
XP600-based DTF printers
-
Other approved six-channel systems
Six-channel systems may provide a dedicated black channel while using one or more channels for white ink.
8-Channel DTF Systems
An eight-channel printer has eight independently controlled ink paths.
Possible eight-channel DTF arrangements may include:
Cyan + Magenta + Yellow + Black + White + White + Light Cyan + Light Magenta
or:
Cyan + Cyan + Magenta + Magenta + Yellow + Black + White + White
The exact ink arrangement depends on the printer, printhead, mainboard, conversion design, and installed Yink Studio profile.
Examples of eight-channel systems may include:
-
Epson I3200(8)-based printers
-
Eight-channel industrial DTF printers
-
Supported specialty DTF systems
-
Other approved eight-channel configurations
Eight-channel systems may provide expanded color control, duplicated color channels, additional white channels, or higher-production configurations.

Minor version updates
-

Perpetual License Limitations
A perpetual license remains on the major version purchased and does not automatically include future major releases.
For example, a perpetual license for Yink Studio Version 1 may receive updates such as Version 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3, but it will not automatically upgrade to Version 2.
Future major versions may include:
-
Major new features
-
Redesigned workflows
-
Newly supported printer families
-
New color-processing technology
-
New operating-system compatibility
-
Other significant improvements
Upgrading to a future major version may require a separate purchase.
A perpetual license also does not guarantee lifetime compatibility with future Windows versions, printer firmware, printer drivers, or newly released printer models.
Customers who want ongoing access to major upgrades and the newest features should choose a monthly or annual subscription.
About Four-Channel Composite Black
A four-channel CMY + White printer does not have a dedicated black ink channel because the fourth channel is used for white ink.
Yink Studio generates black by combining cyan, magenta, and yellow.
Composite black may not be as deep or neutral as black produced with dedicated black ink. However, this is often less important when printing for black garments because black areas can be removed from the artwork, allowing the garment itself to show through.
This can:
-
Reduce ink usage
-
Create a softer finished transfer
-
Make lower-cost four-channel DTF systems possible
Six- and eight-channel systems may use a dedicated black channel, depending on the selected ink arrangement.
Printer Profiles and Compatibility
Every printer requires the correct Yink Studio printer profile and ink-channel arrangement.
Compatibility may depend on:

-

-
Windows printer driver
-
Printhead configuration
-

-

-
Installed Yink Studio profile
Not every third-party conversion is automatically compatible.

Instruction Sheet for L1800 / 1390 Printhead Testing with Multimeter (Digital Download) Instant Download — Delivered to Your Email
Best thing ever!! i used to put cleaning solution in the capping station with a syringe/hose then had to suck out f the wast line with a syringe.... over and over until the capping station was clean. maybe up to 10 times. now i just use maybe 1 or 2 - 30ml syringes full of water and the pump cleans it out so good.... then I put capping solution, place printhead over capping station and turn on the back of the machine. thats it. when i print again, usually next day, I pull from waste tank a few times until I get ink, then i run 1 head cleaning , print a test strip and usually good to go. I sometimes print a 2nd test strip. SO MUCH easier to use this little pump. so glad I bought it.

TMS Printhead Maintenance System by BCH: Comprehensive Cleaning and Maintenance Solution
This is a must have modification to save time troubleshooting. You will need to download Kevin's capping station video to disassemble the capping station. A definite must. You will also need a few other connections to hook this up. All parts are linked in his videos. Pro tip. Have patience and go slow. This modification will save you from a lot of headaches . I did this mod on Procolored L1800 about a year old . Thanks Kevin.
