Protective Storage Clip for HP 15, 40, 45 Cartridges (Heavy Duty)

Cartridge Clip
 

• One Clip for storing cartridges.

• TAPE NEEDED.  You need to protect the printhead with a piece of Saran Wrap or 3M Printhead Tape.  The printhead tape is a specialty tape and expensive. If you do not have the printhead tape, use a piece of Saran wrap between the printhead and the foam on this storage clip.  Do not put the printhead directly on the foam.  The printhead tape will have the advantage of better sealing, maintain moisture better (prevent drying and clogging) and no damage to the printhead.  There are two sizes of the tape.

  • Both narrow and wide tapes work.  However, when you use the narrow tape, you need to make sure the narrow tape covers all the nozzles.  The wide tape covers the whole printhead, so the coverage won't be a problem and the wider sealing surface will help to maintain moisture too.

• This is NOT a priming clip.

• The package includes one Storage Clip.  It works on both black and color-integrated cartridges.  If you have a color and a black cartridge, you will need to order two.
