Board A – Film Feed Stabilizer & Paper Jam Elimination

Board A manages and overrides multiple paper-related sensors to allow smooth PET film feeding.

Sensors Controlled:

• Photo Paper Cassette Sensor

• Paper Cassette Sensor

• PE (Paper End) Sensor

• PF (Paper Feed) Encoder

• Power input routing

What It Does:

• Eliminates “fake paper jam” errors

• Stabilizes film feeding behavior

• Compensates for differences between paper and PET film

• Prevents premature feed rejection

• Improves loading consistency

When using PET film, the printer often misinterprets loading characteristics and rejects the media. Board A corrects the sensor logic so film is accepted and transported smoothly.

Board B – CRPW Override + Permanent Waste Tank Reset

Board B addresses two major DTF conversion problems.

1. CRPW (Carriage Return & Paper Width) Sensor Stabilization

Film differs from paper in:

• Opacity

• Reflectivity

• Surface texture

• Loading characteristics

These differences frequently cause:

• Film load failures

• False paper jam detection

• Width detection errors

Board B stabilizes CRPW signal interpretation so the printer no longer falsely rejects film.

2. Permanent Waste Chip Working Mode

Board B also overrides the maintenance/waste tank chip behavior.

Features:

• Eliminates “Waste Tank Full” errors

• Eliminates “Maintenance Tank Not Inserted” errors

• Waste ink level automatically resets to zero after each printhead cleaning

• No external waste chip resetter required

• Waste chip remains permanently active

This prevents production downtime caused by waste counter lockouts.

Board C – Intelligent White Ink Mixer & Pump Controller

Board C automatically controls the white ink stirrer and circulation pump to prevent sedimentation and maintain consistent white output.

• Works with any 24V stirrers and pumps

• Intelligent timing control

Connector Specifications:

• Mixer: 2.5 mm JST

• White Pump: 2.0 mm JST

Minor rewiring may be required if your pump connectors differ from these standards.

Cables and Wiring

All necessary FFC cables and wiring harnesses for connecting:

• Board A to the mainboard

• Board B to CRPW / printhead interface

• Board C to the control system

• Waste tank interface

• Sensor connections

are fully included in the kit.

No additional FFC cables or signal wires are required for the printer-side connections.

The only connections not pre-wired are the white ink pump and mixer. You may retrofit your existing 24V pump and mixer. If your connectors are not 2.5 mm JST (mixer) or 2.0 mm JST (white pump), minor rewiring or connector replacement may be necessary.
