Positioned on the right side of the PF Rod, this gear plays a crucial role in driving all operations on the same side. It controls the functions of the LD Roller, responsible for paper loading and hopper positioning, drives duplexer, and also oversees the operation of the waste ink system for printhead cleaning.
Given the multitude of functions it handles, the Paper Feed Gear is subject to substantial stress. Consequently, if your printer isn't functioning as expected, it's advisable to check the condition of this gear as it could potentially be damaged or broken.
