Warning: The tank works on all inkjet printers, e.g., Epson, HP, and Canon. Each model will have its own color sequence. Please verify your tank's color sequence matches the printer's color sequence. There will be a set of color plugs on the tank, but it doesn't indicate which color you should put in the tank.  In fact, the color plug should be removed during tank operation.

Prepare Tanks: when you first install a CISS (or after adding ink), you must create a correct air balance inside your tank.  Your goals are:

• Remove small plugs (color plugs).  Small plugs are for shipping.  Save them at a safe place.
• Create the ink level differences between the big and small chambers
• Put the printer in between the two ink levels

Self-priming tanks are easy to prime.  Just open and remove the small plug (See Pictures Above).  Then the tank will be automatically balanced.
