Question:
I got the TMS, but it is not the same as in the video. It is a short tube, and I never got a separate connector. So, how do I hook it up to the WaterTornado?
Answer:
First, you will be pleased to know you received the correct kit. The WaterTornado system contains seven long tubes and one short tube, whereas the TMS unit contains one long tube and one short tube. Here’s how that connection plays out:
Connecting the WaterTornado
Six of the longer tubes from the WaterTornado are stretched to connect directly to the printhead. These tubes are the main access points for flushing and unclogging the nozzles.
This makes both a long and short tube currently unconnected to the WaterTornado.
Linking the TMS with WaterTornado
The TMS has a short tube that acts as the intake. It will suck water from the water tank into the TMS unit.
The long tube from the TMS will plug into either inlet of the WaterTornado unit (both inlets serve the same function, so it doesn't matter which one you use).
The WaterTornado’s outlet then rejoins the water back in the tank or passes it to a sink if you have a continuous flush running.
Relying on Gravity like this ensures that the WaterTornado always has a good supply of water, but it also helps the system push some liquid through the printhead to keep it clear and ready to use.
If you haven’t seen them yet, I strongly encourage you to check out our in-depth setup videos for the WaterTornado, which walks you through the setup and operation process visually, step by step. Not surprisingly, printer problems can be a bit of an in-person affair. Therefore, we can’t offer remote printer troubleshooting or repair guidance. We perform an in-person evaluation and repair service through our local diagnostic center (https://bchtechnologies.com/printer-repair-service), and with the volume of repairs we have, we work on a first-come, first-served method, so it could be a few weeks before we can get your printer serviced. We repair printers as a whole or parts and guide you in every step of either process. However, we acknowledge that our rates may not be the most cost-effective for everyone. Accordingly we strongly encourage self-help through online material.

Search specific subjects using the search icon (next to “About” tab) on menu bar You have more than nine years worth of videos, so it’s unlikely anyone remembers every tutorial, but YouTube’s search feature should help you find relevant content. There may also be suggestions for other channels that can assist you with this as well.
