Common DTF Printer Problems: Solutions & Fixes

Question: I just watched the video ‘DTF Printer Won’t Print. ‘Here’s How to Fix That,’ but it isn’t working. What should I do?

Answer: Few things could cause the issue in situations like this. Start by checking that ink is flowing correctly to the printer. Inspect the printhead for clogs, especially if you recently cleaned it or if the printer sat unused for an extended period of time. If nothing is printing, though, without apparent clogs, the problem is likely in the ink system or software settings. Sometimes, the chipboard or the direct-to-film printer communication may need a reset or a software update.
