Fix Epson Error 033007 - Fatal Error During Printer Start
In this blog, we’ll discuss the 033007 error and how to fix it.
Unfortunately, Epson’s printer manual doesn’t address how to deal with this error, leaving many users frustrated when it occurs. If you receive this error when starting the printer, it’s probably because you have probably done several cleanings in the past. Printhead cleanings often result in large amounts of ink spilled from the cartridge. As that ink evaporates, it raises the printer’s moisture level and eventually messes up the cables.
Let’s get started on how to solve this issue. First, use the Epson button to power off the printer, and then unplug the device. Let the printer sit for at least 24 hours, and you should be printing normally again. If you're still getting the error after letting the printer sit for a day, try letting it sit for an additional 24 hours, or even longer.
Be careful not to let your printer get too dry—make sure the lid is always closed. Otherwise, you could clog the printer with dried ink. If you’re a more technically-inclined individual, you may want to remove the cover and clean the cables, checking to see if any cables are loose. Put everything back in its proper place and run the printer as normal.
