Answer: We use an electronic-grade silicone sealant with precision applicator:
You may also use a conformal silicone coating that offers the same advantages as a standard silicone coating but with a reduced curing time. Kevin typically reinstalls the printhead without waiting for the silicone to cure, so the difference is minimal. Unless you want to open up the printhead and conformal coat the whole board, regular silicone sealant is fine. Additionally, refrain from using spray-on conformal coatings on the printhead itself and choose silicone sealant instead of glue.
