L1800/R1390 Printheads, DTF Powder & Cleaning Solutions – Everything You Need to Know

Question
I desperately need a L1800/R1390 printhead, and I want to make sure it's not damaged before I buy it. I just purchased one from another seller who said it was new and original, but when I received it, it was in awful shape: What appeared to be glue and lint all over it, it was scratched, and it was used. I am sure this is not a fake or false story; give me any reference to prove it. Yeah, fine, it's just plain silly stuff.

I would also like to know about the granule size of your powder and if your ink is the same as the DTGpro Quantum DTF V3 ink.
Finally, I want to know the right cleaning solvents for a DTF printer. I need an extreme unclogging solution to recover a semi-plugged printhead, a wet capping solution, and a daily cleaner. How do you recommend the best products?

Answer: Thank you for sharing! I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. I know that your situation is very urgent, and I appreciate your patience. Thanks for your engagement with BCH Technologies (https://bchtechnologies.com). We are constantly striving to improve our tech skills, and your input is insatiable.
Now, let’s answer your questions one by one.

L1800/R1390 Printhead Condition and Availability
We have been selling printhead for years, and all of our printheads come from reputable Epson distributors Because this is a high-risk, high-cost item, we ensure full detail (as appropriate to the product type) is included in the listing. The listing for our printhead is here (https://bchtechnologies.com/products/no-return-printhead-for-epson-1390-1400-1410-1430-l1800-l-18001500w-artisan-1430-dtf-dtg-sublimation?_pos=2&_sid=f1af30d73&_ss=r).
These printheads cannot be returned (it is the policy). If a customer reads our product listing and still has questions, we suggest they buy from another supplier because we won’t sell these types of parts to anyone who fully grasps all the risks.

Comparison of DTF Powder Granule Size and Ink

  • We do not request the granule size of our DTF powder, but we do use it ourselves and have found it to be very reliable.
  • If your DTF printing process is so sensitive that you need a specific granule size, we suggest visiting another supplier who provides this level of detail.
  • Fine DTF ink comparison: We have DTF ink, but it can't be compared directly with DTGpro Quantum DTF V3 ink because all formulations behave differently. We recommend starting with a small amount first to ensure it plays well with your configuration.

Cleaning Solutions are mainly used for DTF printers.
To maintain your printhead and keep it working well, we suggest the following cleaning solutions:
Extreme Unclogging Solution:

  • Using an advanced printhead cleaner specifically for DTF printers is highly effective on clogged nozzles.
  • You may have to soak the printhead in the solution for a few hours or run through a flush system.

Wet Capping Solution:

  • A good wet capping solution is necessary to prevent the printer from clogging when it unruns. This keeps the nozzles moist and prevents them from drying.

Daily Cleaning Solution:

  • Inking in these areas can be removed with a slightly stronger daily cleaning solution, helping to keep the printer operational.

For the best quality DTF printer products, refer to FColor (https://www.fcolor.com.cn) and tell them Kevin sent you from BCH Technologies.

When to Seek Professional Help
The hands-on and physical nature of printer problems makes addressing printer issues an involved process. As such, we cannot accommodate remote troubleshooting, recommendations, or help with your printer repairs. We have a local diagnostic center that does in-person evaluation and repair (https://bchtechnologies.com/printer-repair-service), and due to the high demand, we work on a first-come, first-served basis, so it might take a week or two before we can evaluate your printer.
AV Printing Services: Typically, we offer the printer complete repairs or part replacements, with explicit guidance on what needs to be done. However, we can’t always guarantee] that our rates are the cheapest. Hence, we strongly advise you to get some self-help through online research. You should try YouTube or our YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@bchtechnologies).
Try the search icon next to "About" on our channel. We receive several requests from users to create videos on specific topics, and since we’ve made hundreds over the last nine years, the most effective way to find what you seek is to use YouTube’s search function. In addition, YouTube may recommend related videos from other channels that can help you.

Thank you so much for being involved with BCH Technologies. We hope this guide will help you decide on your L1800/R1390 printhead, DTF powder, and cleaning solutions. Please get in touch with us if you have any other questions. We are always here to help,p and your feedback improves us!
