Experimenting with BCH Standard Bulk Ink: A New Twist on UniBall Vision Pens

Have you ever wondered if you could breathe new life into your favorite pens by refilling them with a different type of ink? Well, I recently decided to embark on such an experiment, and the results were nothing short of fascinating. In this blog post, I'll share my experience using BCH Standard Bulk Ink as a refill for UniBall Vision FINE roller ball pens.

UniBall Vision FINE pens have been my trusted companions since high school, along with UniBall Micro pens. I find myself purchasing them regularly, and they have always delivered a smooth writing experience. When I stumbled upon the story of how BCH came into existence, I knew that my experiment was in perfect alignment with the spirit of BCH.

The process, however, was not as straightforward as I initially thought. I decided to use a BD 'Luer-Lok' Tip Syringe (23G x 1" TW) to pierce the side of the UniBall Vision Pen. These pens have an "ink window" that allows you to monitor the ink level inside. I carefully injected fresh BCH Standard Bulk Ink into the cartridge located in the center of the pen, as it appeared there might be both an outer wall and an inner wall within the pen's design.

I'm not entirely certain about the double wall theory, but I can confirm that it takes a fresh needle and some pressure to pierce the plastic wall of the pen. Once this hurdle is overcome, the ink flows smoothly and fills up the pen with ease. It's worth noting that there's a limit to the amount of ink that can be used. Exceeding this limit will result in excess ink escaping through the vents near the tip of the pen.

The most exciting part of this experiment was the performance of BCH Standard Bulk Ink in comparison to the original OEM ink. The difference was striking. BCH ink offered better flow, improved coverage, and effortless writing. It was like rediscovering my favorite pen with a newfound vigor.

Now, I can't wait to take my experiment to the next level. My next adventure will be testing BCH Standard Bulk Ink as Calligraphy Ink. I have high hopes for its performance, and I'll be sure to keep you updated on the results. I might even share some pictures of the stunning calligraphy created with BCH SBI.

In conclusion, experimenting with BCH Standard Bulk Ink as a refill for UniBall Vision FINE roller ball pens was a delightful journey that breathed new life into my trusty writing companions. If you're a fan of these pens, I encourage you to give it a try, and who knows, you might discover a whole new world of writing possibilities. Stay tuned for more exciting experiments and updates on the BCH Calligraphy Ink adventure!
