"I am having a LOT of trouble with my DTF printer, an Epson L1800. We've replaced the capping station due to waste ink backing up, but now there's hardly any white ink coming out. Despite changing white ink dampers and cleaning the head, there's still no ink flow. We even installed a new printhead, but the problem persists. Could it be a clog in the lines, a faulty fuse, or a defective printhead? What should I do next?"

1. Capping Station and Ink Flow: It's commendable that you replaced the capping station, especially if waste ink was causing blockages. However, simply swapping parts might not fully resolve the issue. Ensure the new capping station is functioning correctly to prevent further blockages. Sometimes the old white ink dries on the sponge part of the platform, so when the printer do the cleaning, it sucks ink out of other channels but won't suck ink out of white channels. Also, it could be the whole capping station is badly clogged, it won't suck any ink from all channels.
2. White Ink Supply and Dampers: Despite part replacements and maintenance, if white ink output remains insufficient, it could indicate dried ink or clogs. 3. Printhead Maintenance: Even with a new printhead, if ink flow problems persist, there may be additional factors to consider. Double-check the installation and cleanliness of the printhead. You will need to use the capping station to suck the fluid out and replace with white ink.
4. Further Troubleshooting: If the previous steps haven't resolved the issue, it's time for a deeper dive. Inspect for clogs in the ink lines and examine the F1 fuse for damage. If your printer can print any color at all, then the problem is not fuses nor driver chips.
