Answer:

Thank you for contacting us. We at BCH Technologies are grateful for your engagement and support, particularly with regard to our YouTube channel. Your feedback plays a crucial role in further developing our technical expertise.

I understand your concern about finding the correct CR motor for your 1390 DTF printer. Unfortunately, the 1390's motor differs from the L1800's CR motor, despite their similar appearance. This distinction makes the 1390's motor harder to find, and we currently do not stock them due to the infrequency of this issue. We suggest our customers to install a heat sink fan (below) and cooling fan, so they won't have this problem. You can install a L1800 motor on 1390 but it won't last.

For your 1390 DTF printer, the best place to source the correct motor is AliExpress. Ensure the seller specifically lists it as a 1390 motor, not an L1800 motor. A crucial step is to take the motor out of your printer and check for a faint markings visible under a light. I think the marking starts with letter "RS". I don't have one here to verify. These markings will indicate the exact model number you need to match when ordering.

Avoid listings that group multiple models together, such as "Epson R2000 R1390 L1800 R1800 R1900 P400 CR motor accelerated printing A3 UV printer carriage unit motor," as they do not specify a choice between the 1390 and L1800 motors, suggesting a lack of precise knowledge.

For better long-term performance and to prevent similar issues, consider installing a motor cooling fan with a heat sink. This addition can help maintain the motor’s temperature and reduce the risk of overheating. We offer a premium CR motor heat sink assembly with a fan [https://bchtechnologies.com/premium-cr-motor-heat-sink-assembly-with-fan-for-l1800-1390-dtf-dtg-printers/] specifically designed for the 1390 and L1800 DTF/DTG printers.

Addressing printer issues can be a complicated affair due to the hands-on nature of the problems. Therefore, we're not able to provide remote troubleshooting, suggestions, or support for printer repairs. We offer an in-person evaluation and repair service via our local diagnostic facility [https://bchtechnologies.com/printer-repair-service]. Given the high demand, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so it might take a few weeks before we can get your printer for drop-off or mail-in services. Our services are structured to repair either a whole printer or specific parts, with clear instructions on how to proceed if you opt for mail-in or local drop-off services.

However, we acknowledge that our rates aren't the most economical. Thus, we highly recommend resorting to self-help via online research. You can start by checking out YouTube or visiting our YouTube channel's homepage [https://youtube.com/@bchtechnologies]. Look for specific videos using the search icon next to "About" on the right-hand side of the menu bar. I receive dozens of queries every day asking about videos for specific topics. Having created videos over the past nine years, it's challenging to remember every single one. Therefore, using YouTube's search function would be most efficient. Plus, YouTube might suggest relevant videos from other channels that could assist you.

Thank you again for reaching out and supporting BCH Technologies. We hope this information helps you find the right solution for your printer.
