Installation Instructions
Power Input
-
Voltage Range: Compatible with power sources between 6V and 30V.
-
Typical Supply: Use a 12V or 24V power adapter.
-
Current Requirement:
-
A power supply with 1A output is sufficient for mixers and white ink pumps.
-
For additional high-energy devices, such as heaters, check the device's amp requirements and adjust the power supply accordingly to ensure sufficient output.
Connection Options:
-
Option 1: Plug a power adapter directly into the timer.
-
Option 2: Tap into an existing power line from your printer’s mainboard using the quick-connect/release connector.
Important: Do not use both connection options simultaneously. Choose either a power adapter or the mainboard power tap to prevent damage to the timer or connected devices.
Using the Quick Connector for Input
-
Press down the white tab on the connector.
-
Insert the wire into the bottom slot and release the tab to secure it.
Output Connection
-
Multiple Devices: Twist all output wires together before inserting them into the quick connector.
-
Important: Ensure the red wire on the input matches the red wire on the output. Reversing polarity may cause the motor to spin backward, which could affect its operation.

Transistor Pair C6144 (2SC6144) and A2222 (2SA2222) for Epson EcoTank & WorkForce WF-2630

The main board works again! Prior to purchasing the main board, my Epson WF-3640 would give the 0x9a error code, which I deduced was due to a short-circuited clogged printhead, that blew out the fuse on the main board. Disassembling the printer, I had checked the main board fuse with a multimeter and sure enough, it was blown. So, I chose to buy a main board from BCH, as I was sure I could not fix the fuse itself. I also bought some new cables for the print head/main board as one of them looked burnt where it was inserted in the print head. I purchased a used printhead elsewhere, though, as BCH didn't seem to have one in stock. After installation, the printer worked again, though the used printhead--again purchased elsewhere--was clogged. I can't blame that on BCH, which is why I stress that I purchased the printhead elsewhere. Nevertheless, everything from BCH worked perfectly. It may work too perfectly, for when I initially powered up the unit without ink cartridges, I didn't get any error message saying to install cartridges. I don't know why that is. It could be just the way the WF-3640 works and I had never noticed it before, but once everything was installed, it merely said the nozzle and/or printhead was clogged and asked me to run a cleaning. All in all, I am very satisfied and would purchase from BCH again should I have the need to do so. Lastly, the YouTube videos and BCH website instructions were spot on! I had initially wired back the mainboard incorrectly but I re-watched the video and found my error before I powered up the unit. My only regret is that I accidentally may have left the "Anonymous Anonymous" review below without adding text, which I have remedied with this comment.
