NO RETURN - Genuinely New Epson L-1800 Printer - A3+ Never Used, Never Converted - Buy it for Printhead Holding, Spare, Sublimation, or All Three
$1,190.99
-
This is a pristine, unopened Epson L-1800 printer. It has never been utilized or adapted for DTF. Epson's blue tape remains untouched on this product. It comes with a brand new printhead valued at $450, a new mainboard worth $400, and everything else is also brand new.
Potential Applications:
-
DTF Printhead Holder: Purchasing this printer alongside a converted L1800 DTF printer allows you to store the printhead in this printer. Kevin's video guide below demonstrates how to prepare the L1800 printhead. If your DTF printer is not in use for an extended period (e.g., during vacations) or if you don't frequently have orders, you can transfer the printhead into this printer and use it for daily document printing. This method prevents the printhead from clogging with white ink and eliminates the need for daily DTF printer maintenance. Plus, you'll only require one printhead for both printers, allowing the brand new printhead from this printer to be kept as a backup.
-
DTF Printer Backup: Should any parts of your DTF printer fail during operation, you can effortlessly replace them with parts from this printer.
-
Sublimation Conversion: With the purchase of sublimation ink, this printer can easily be transformed into a sublimation printer with no additional "conversion" necessary. Simply add the sublimation ink, and it's ready for use. You also don't have to strictly choose between these three options. You can utilize this printer as a sublimation printer, keep the brand new printhead as a backup, and switch the printhead to the DTF printer whenever you have a DTF order. Then, once you've finished the DTF printing, you can return the printhead to this printer.

Excellent replacement which fixed the issue I was having. Great videos illustrating how to implement the fix. Well done BCH! Great job with the video. Helped me get the printer disassembled, broken gear removed, and new gear installed. Heating the replacement to ease installation was a winner!

Thank you Kevin for this very detail video. The pump in my printer was completely clogged. Your video was very helpful. Luckily, I didn't have to completely disassemble the pump. One step before completely disassembling the pump I was able to flush out the clogs inside the tubes. This video is a valuable tool along with print head cleaning, tools and other maintenance tips. I would recommend this video to anyone that has a clogged pump. While the printer is apart inspect and clean other areas. Thanks again Kevin.

Video: Capping Station Assemble & Disassemble Guide for L1800, 1390, Artisan 1430, and 1400

This is actually my 2nd CISS system. The first was from a vendor preassembled and filled for plug and play with a Canon 2720. After installing it, I realized that the 4x45ml capacity wasn't clearly stated and is much too small. I then swapped out the tiny Black 45ml tank with a BCH 500ml tank. Easy. 45ml colors are sufficient. I can run the Canon for 4 months. More importantly I learned how a CISS is assembled and it's operating characteristics. Today I ambitiously added a 500ml BK and 3x75ml Color tanks to my Brother MFC-5930DW refillable cartridges. I have to refill the cartridges every 2 weeks. Now I should have at least 4 months between refills. BCH had all the parts to build my CISS and explanations on how the CISS bottles work and their positioning.
