The ET-8550 Printhead Management Assembly (PMA) is designed for optimal performance and maintenance of your printer's DTF printing, ensuring consistent print quality and longevity. This advanced yet compact unit features two specialized internal tanks:

1. White Ink Tank

• Secondary Reservoir: Acts as an additional reservoir for the white ink, equipped with an inlet and outlet for a continuous circulation system.
• Pressure Balancing: Automatically balances the ink pressure, preventing any surge from the white ink pump from disrupting the printing process.
• Reservoir Function: Provides a steady supply of white ink for large prints, preventing interruptions often caused by circulation systems that rely solely on tubing. This ensures consistent white ink delivery, avoiding issues like running out of white ink mid-print.

2. Maintenance Tank

• Maintenance Solution Storage: Holds a maintenance solution such as wetter solution, water, or vacation capping solution, with a single inlet.
• Switchable Supply: When the printer is idle, switch the white ink supply to this tank, allowing the maintenance solution to replace the white ink in the printhead. This prevents clogging and extends the printhead's lifespan by keeping it free from white ink build-up during downtime.
