The capping station then remains engaged with the printhead, leaving the printhead physically locked or parked in the capping station.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nDuring startup, the printer attempts to release and move the printhead. Because the capping mechanism cannot disengage correctly, the carriage cannot complete its normal movement and the Epson may report a Transportation Error.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nIn many cases, pushing the PF Drive Gear back into position temporarily restores operation.
