Dye ink produces a much wider color gamut than pigment-based ink and result in more accurate colors in photo prints. Pigment ink has the advantage of water resistance and long lasting(100+ years). If you are an artist and want your work last as long as possible for your clients, or printing labels need to be water resistant, pigment ink is the best choice. If you are an enthusiast and you have digital backups so that you can reprint, you may like the lower cost of dye ink. This kit is for people who want to print pigment quality black text and vivid dye color. The ink is formulated to be total compatible with pigment ink. It can directly injected into pigment cartridges. Create professional-quality prints, using BCH® premium inks, formulated for high-capacity cartridges offer a great value. Printed documents resist UV light, fading, and will retain color quality for decades. BCH proprietary inks also prevent corrosion and clogging of the printhead—ensuring the best prints.

    Excellent Quality

I do use gloves, but sometimes the ink does get on your skin. Tide Pods (for the washing machine) is the best soap for removing ink on your hands. It does save hundreds of dollars by using the refillable chips (ARC) and premium ink. All the best, RD
